As owner/manager of Windermere/Idaho First Realty, Inc., I’ve had the opportunity to forge partnerships with real estate development and marketing firms in a multi-state area. Whether you wish to buy or sell property, let me put my 15+ year real estate career and lifetime residence in Sandpoint to work for you. I am licensed in Idaho and Montana.

Education & Experience

Graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1964. After receiving a Bachelor of Architectual Degree in 1969 from the University of Idaho, I worked as an Architect in Seattle, WA from 1969-1972. I then worked for a private company from 1972-1978, and went into private practice from 1977-1987. My real estate career began in 1986. I have been a licensed Broker/Consultant from 1988 to present in Idaho and a licensed Broker in Montana since 1999.

EXPERIENCE

I am a second generation Idahoan. My business career consists of 43 years working in national banks in the State of Idaho with my final position being Vice President & Manager of the First National Bank of North Idaho in Sandpoint. Since retiring from banking I entered the real estate field and am now Associate Broker for Windermere/Idaho First Realty, Inc., a member of the Selkirk Association of Realtors located in Bonner & Boundary counties.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Service to my community includes a 30-year membership in Kiwanis Club, lifetime member of the Elks Club, Board of Directors member of Bonner General Hospital for 29 years, past commissioner of the Westside Fire District for Bonner County and involvement in youth baseball for 8 years.

Why Real Estate

I have the entrepreneurial spirit and drive. It is very rewarding being your own boss. The Market is always changing which provides a challenge and it is fun. I am a people person that communicates honesty and integrity.

Education

I graduated from the University of Montana with a BA Degree in Business Management and Marketing. I also have a Media Arts Minor. In College, I took many entrepreneurial classes and have been involved in business planning and development.

Previous Work Experience

Before going into Real Estate, I helped manage a multi-million dollar international business in Ponderay, Idaho.
